Locksbottom Podiatry is our Orpington clinic in Kent, located within the shopping area of Locksbottom, and is accessed at the rear via Sainsbury’s car park. It is part of The Locksbottom Clinic which is multi-disciplinary but predominantly Podiatry and Physiotherapy.
The practice was started in 1990 by Paul Studart, was joined by Physiotherapy in 1996 and has occupied the present premises since 2000.
There are currently four experienced and motivated Podiatrists and the ethos of the practice is to diagnose, treat and discharge each patient where possible.
We treat all foot deformities including joint and lower limb malalignments affecting the feet and welcome complex cases. Treatment modalities include the use of biomechanical assessments, treadmill, low power laser, ultrasound, the facility of an in house laboratory and the use of off the shelf and bespoke in shoe devices to correct gait and to alleviate painful symptoms.
We are very happy to treat children of all ages. They understandably must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We treat sports injuries and specialise in the treatment of athletes.
Common ailments such as corns, callouses, ingrowing toenails and verrucas are also treated.
There is a reduced fee service for the cutting of nails called “Simply Toenails”.
Home visits are available on request.
