I’ve always had nothing but excellent service from Locksbottom Podiatry. They always do their best to organise appointments for me when I need them and are both friendly and professional.

I’ve seen Paul for podiatry services for many years and always found him to be kind, helpful and an excellent Podiatrist. A thoroughly nice man, his patient care is second to none.

Paul, Orpington

I’ve been a patient at Locksbottom Podiatry for many years and can heartily recommend them, from the warm welcome at reception to the excellent treatment provided by the Podiatrists and. The assessments and treatments are always patient-centred, carefully explained and professionally carried out, making me feel completely at ease. It’s always an absolute pleasure to visit and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

After suffering from Plantar Fasciitis for some time I decided I needed to do something about it as the pain was crippling.

I visited the clinic and the Podiatrist Toby, who suggested made-to-measure orthotic insoles, as the problem was so acute and stretching exercises were not helping.

Now the pain has completely gone, no more hobbling about in agony.

I had problems with my big toenail, it was painful and oozed pus. I was advised that the nail needed to be removed as the problem would probably return. I couldn’t face surgery – it was my dreaded nightmare.

Eventually, I decided to go ahead and made the appointment. I was so worried about the whole procedure that when the day came I very nearly cancelled the appointment. When I arrived the receptionist greeted me with a smile, a cup of tea and conversation. The dreaded moment came and I was called in. Everything was explained to me. The injection in my toe that I was worried about caused no more than a little discomfort, the whole procedure was a piece of cake and I wouldn’t hesitate to have it again.

The practice is run by kind, caring people and I can’t recommend highly enough.

During the seemingly endless time of the coronavirus outbreak, I was in a lot of pain with my feet needing a podiatrist, but was becoming increasingly desperate as to how I would be able to find one, even though essential services were allowed at that time, to continue functioning subject to mutual agreement.

By chance during my painful walks around, I discovered Locksbottom Podiatry. I contacted them in the hope that they would be able and willing to help me, even though I had never visited there before.

As I was in a lot of pain. Paul Studart offered me a very welcome emergency appointment the very next day with his colleague Melanie Godfrey, and after 45 minutes I was able once again to walk like a human being and not like Victor Frankenstein’s unfortunate creature.

I will always be grateful to Paul Studart and Melanie Godfrey for their kindness and professionalism and would recommend them to anybody looking for a competent and caring podiatry practice at short notice.

I cannot thank Melanie and Paul enough for their care over my 14-year-old daughter’s toe during the lockdown period. My daughter had a previous ingrown toenail procedure (both sides) through the NHS service which did not heal well and had repeated issues and infections. My daughter also has a needle phobia which worsened after the toenail procedure. We reached out to Locksbottom Podiatry during the lockdown and following a conversation with Paul we were seen the next day by Melanie.

Melanie put my daughter at ease straight away by her obvious knowledge and professionalism, but also has a personality that made my daughter laugh instead of cry! It was so important to ensure my daughter remained calm and was not scared. The follow up has been fantastic, with Paul calling me to check on my daughter’s progress and giving comments on photos of the toe rather than coming in.

Thank you very much for an amazing service and care during these difficult times!
