Locksbottom Podiatry is our Orpington clinic in Kent, located within the shopping area of Locksbottom and can be accessed via Sainsbury’s car park. Founded in 1990 by Paul Studart, the practice has been located at its current premises since 2000. 

Our team comprises three experienced Podiatrists dedicated to providing exceptional care. Our ethos is centered on diagnosing and treating patients with an unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standard of treatment. We specialize in addressing various foot conditions, including joint and lower limb malalignments, as well as common issues like corns, callouses, ingrowing toenails, fungal nail infections, and verrucas. 

Complex cases are welcomed at Locksbottom Podiatry, where we employ diverse treatment modalities such as biomechanical assessments, treadmill analysis, low-power laser therapy, ultrasound, and utilize an in-house laboratory. Additionally, we offer off-the-shelf and custom-made in-shoe devices to correct gait and alleviate painful symptoms. 

Our expertise extends to specialized care for young patients, where we understand the unique needs of children's feet, offering treatment for a range of paediatric foot conditions. Additionally, we address sports injuries with comprehensive solutions tailored to athletes, from biomechanical assessments to personalized rehabilitation plans, ensuring a speedy recovery and optimal performance. 

 

Locksbottom Podiatry is our Orpington clinic in Kent, located within the shopping area of Locksbottom,  and is accessed at the rear via Sainsbury’s car park. It is part of The Locksbottom Clinic which is multi-disciplinary but predominantly Podiatry and Physiotherapy.

The practice was started in 1990 by Paul Studart, was joined by Physiotherapy in 1996 and has occupied the present premises since 2000.

There are currently four experienced and motivated Podiatrists and the ethos of the practice is to diagnose, treat and discharge each patient where possible.

We treat all foot deformities including joint and lower limb malalignments affecting the feet and welcome complex cases. Treatment modalities include the use of biomechanical assessments, treadmill, low power laser, ultrasound, the facility of an in house laboratory and the use of off the shelf and bespoke in shoe devices to correct gait and to alleviate painful symptoms.

We are very happy to treat children of all ages. They understandably must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

We treat sports injuries and specialise in the treatment of athletes.

Common ailments such as corns, callouses, ingrowing toenails and verrucas are also treated.

There is a reduced fee service for the cutting of nails called “Simple Nails”.

Home visits are available on request.
